Driven by a passion for botany, design, art, and the connection they create between us and our surroundings, Janvier is a small international team, dedicated to integrating nature into contemporary spaces. We view every project as an opportunity to positively impact our clients' lives through the power of plants. We believe that plants add structure, character, and a sense of well-being to our spaces and our lives.
Janvier specialises in designing and executing landscape projects of various scales, ranging from terraces and gardens to entire buildings. We collaborate closely with architects and interior designers, and also work directly with clients seeking landscape solutions for their homes, apartments, or businesses. We firmly believe that landscape is an integral part of architecture. It's an element that can enhance, transform, and enrich our connection to the spaces we inhabit.
Born and raised in Paris, Claire was deeply influenced by the city’s timeless elegance and its seamless blend of art, design, and nature. Yet, it was Portugal’s vibrant landscapes, golden light, and soulful energy that truly captivated her, sparking a dream to create something meaningful amidst its beauty. With a growing calling to work with plants, Claire turned her passion into action. She envisioned a studio where her love for nature and design could come together, transforming outdoor spaces into places that inspire connection and serenity.
That vision became Janvier Plants, founded in Lisbon as a tribute to her journey and her deep-rooted belief in the power of nature. Today, Claire’s work brings lush, personalized landscapes to life, combining her Parisian sensibility with the raw beauty of Portugal.
